Nach der erfolgreichen „Mind Loss EP“, die Werner Niedermeier erst kürzlich zusammen mit Gareth Whitehead auf Broque.de veröffentlicht hat, wird direkt mit „About“ nachgelegt. Das neue Release dokumentiert die vielen schlaflosen Nächte des nach London ausgewanderten Produzenten, die Folge seines hohen Outputs sind. Diesen gibt es aktuell zum Beispiel auch auf Nummer, Supplemental oder Sweat Lodge zu hoeren. Und als wäre seine Musik nicht genug, gesellen sich auch auf dieser EP wieder neue und alte Bekannte um ihn: Der aus England stammende Damian Pevy alias Gumbo Jones ist Funk- und Jazzmusiker und spielt neben Bass auch Klavier und Schlagzeug. Zusammen mit Werner Niedermeier wird ein völlig neuer Ansatz in der gemeinsamen Musik verfolgt – elektronisch, fröhlich, improvisiert. Die in Berlin ansässigen Freund der Familie bringen das Titelstück dagegen in ein tief groovendes Drum&Bass Gewand. Und der von Liebe*Detail und Freude am Tanzen bekannte Juno6 läßt alle Stücke schlicht in einem musikalischen Fazit fusionieren.
